Mturkgrind the place where you can learn how to cheat on mturk

A bunch of stupid workers on mturkgrind are writing scripts to autocomplete hits on amazon mechanical turk. Requesters take notice and ban these shitheads. Take the time to report cheaters to amazon so they can have their accounts banned.

  1. Yea, the cheaters at mturk grind ran off a great requester today. I love how this assfuck zingy can go around saying what a great moderation team and great members they have but promote outright scamming of requesters. They are the worst. They are even worse than mturkforum which says alot

  3. You can tell an mturk grind suckup when you see one. "oh we don't cheat" or "we are really legitimate".
I guess that is why requesters avoid mturkgrind on Amazon Mechanical Turk like the plague huh?

Hey requesters, want to get scammed using Mturk? Go to mturkgrind and you are sure to be ripped off!

  5. The truth is, all of these people initially came from mturkforum. Now, many of them have vanity requester accounts where they post low paying HITs for their friends, to boost their approval ratings; at the end of the day, not only are they cheating requesters by scripting everything that can be scripted, but they're cheating honest workers out of work and money on a daily basis.I would recommend to any honest worker reading this to flag as a violation any HIT posted by these people (pretty easy to find if you read these two forums) and eventually Amazon will suspend their accounts.

  6. I have read on them that their justification for scripting hits is that the requester is paying so low so it is their right to script the hits and cheat the requester. It is ok, in their opinion to have their computer do the hit because the requester is scummy by paying so low.

I would be ashamed to be associated with them.

  7. How on earth is it 'cheating'?

It's a job, and people develop skills and techniques to be faster or better at jobs all the time. Is going to college cheating? Or working out to be stronger? What about figuring out how to copy papers faster? Is it cheating if I can type faster than you?

I have never heard of a requester care about scripting, (I don't use the scripts in question) but those I have spoken to encourage it because it streamlines the work and if someone can efficicently get the job done faster then more power to them. The faster the work the more work that gets done and the cheaper the requester can justify paying for the task.

I really have zero idea why someone woke up one day and decided you could "cheat" by using a resource to help speed up the time it takes to do a hit (No one is lying, providing bad information, or not following instructions).

Every successful company I know of wants workers to think outside the box in order to maximize the amount of work they can do, it sounds to me like sour grapes because it's "not fair", as if Amazon turking is some sort of special club full where everyone is supposed to be equal and share and run the race slower if someone else can't keep up.

Amazon turking is about making money, and common sense says people want to make as much as possible. If they are using scripts to provide a faster method to doing the task what is the fault in that?

    1. Amy you are obviously one of the asshats who try to justify ripping off requesters with flawed logic. "I don't use these scripts" what a crock of shit.
I have seen you fucktards write scrips and go to majority rules requesters to scam them, so go fuck yourself you stupid pig whore.
I hope they ban you. Fucking idiot kid.

  8. If nothing else, I get Andy from mturkforum. He just wants to make money. And that fact is very clear.

Zingy, on the other hand, is so freaking insecure and in need of reassurance it is downright pathetic. He is pushing 30. Living with his mom. That, in and of itself, is no problem. Shit happens. I've done it.

But IRL, he has very few friends. He has to wait until mommy goes on vacation before he can even have a beer. Because mommy doesn't approve. His forum gives is his only measure of self worth. I'd rather work slower, make a bit less. Submit quality work. And have a life.

  9. Zingy is almost 30, living at home (it happens - that is what family is for) but he doesn't have any IRL friends. Even then, I wouldn't judge. That is okay. We all have issues, no?

But Zingy can't even drink a beer at home. Because mommy doesn't approve. His entire self worth is wrapped up in his interactions online. He has no life outside of the forum or living with his mom.

Lotkotran? Moderator for zing and now a reddit mod? Sent me unsolicited dick pics. From his homeless shelter. No joke. 99.9% sure they are still on my computer but probably not something I should spread as proof. That dude should worry more about not being homeless and being a father to his son than sending random chicks on the internet pics of his thing while homeless, no?

  10. Funny, I got dick pics from him too. Not unsolicited though, I had to talk him into it and make a trade ;)

Also those pics were in the bathroom of his apartment if they were the same ones. He hadn't been homeless for a while at that point, but hey I thought this was a blog about mturk, not shit talking on mturk community members.

None of this has to do with the original posts though. I don't see much talk about scamming scripts on any forums. Most recently theming and database scripts that do not affect quality of work have been the most popular.

  11. Hello,

I was just curious how you feel about userscripts that do not automate anything, but rather speed up combinations of keys, but the user is still there and finding the information themselves. I know a lot of workers have resorted to using scripts to make the pay on HITs worth it. What are your thoughts?
